About

Driven by a deep sense of curiosity, Antoine developed an early passion for music and began studying the violin at the age of 4. From the age of 14, he learned how to perform in front of an audience as a street musician in Old Quebec City during the summer. This experience shaped his ability to listen, improvise, and adapt, qualities that would later become central to his artistic approach.

A graduate of the Université de Montréal with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance, Antoine draws inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres: jazz, classical, folk, pop, rock, and many others, in order to offer modern, dynamic, and personalized violin experiences.

A true stage performer at heart, Antoine plays in a wide variety of settings. He regularly appears on television shows such as En Direct de l’Univers. He has toured throughout Quebec while collaborating with many well-known and emerging artists, including Édith Butler, Philippe Tremblay, and David Pineau, and he is frequently invited to join headlining acts at regional festivals.

He is also very active in private events, including weddings. Among his most notable experiences, Antoine and his band have performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. He was also invited to play for the opening of a Montréal Alouettes game. Antoine also represented the Canada Pavilion at Epcot Center (Walt Disney World, Florida, USA) for several months. Equally comfortable on large stages as in more intimate settings, he knows how to adjust his playing, energy, and repertoire depending on the audience and the event.
